Professor Du Peng


Professor Du Peng, Ph. D., graduated from the Renmin University of China in 1992.

He is a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at School of Social Work and School of Gerontology at USC, 2009-2010. Currently he is director and professor of the Gerontology Institute, Renmin University of China; His academic titles include vice-president, China Gerontological Society; president, Beijing Association of Gerontology. He is also the chair of International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics Asia/Oceania Region, board member of United Nations International Institute on Ageing, and board member of HelpAge International. He has published numerous books and manuscripts on aging and persons with disabilities related the topics.
